2S ECHO 2010
From January 22nd to January 24th 2010, in La Rosière 1850 in Savoie (French Alpes), the first competition of the two dates events 2S ECHO 2010 will occur under the umbrella of the "Week of the Wind" (16th to 24th of January2010).
2S ECHO 2010 event aims to promote competition and eco-friendly mindset. It also mixes the relation Snow/Sea (2S).
The snowkite competition segment is organized around two events. It will kick off with an open to all participants snowkite competition on the 22nd. On the 23rd and 24th, the best snowkiters will compete for the crown of French Snowkite Championship through an eventful and selective set of competitions.
The eco-friendly side of the event is related to the efforts of the on the environmental protection initiatives of the sponsoring team. These initiatives are inspired by a sport which is by essence eco-friendly : snowkiters use wind to practice their sport in the pure and preserved 'Alpes' mountains.
The kitesurf event will occur in Perros-Guirrec on the notoriously windy beaches of Brittany in Spring 2010.
