Testimonials

"We are on the beach every day, we teach to people how to kite. Who else is in a better position to set examples and good practices? If we manage to inspire the hundreds of Kiters that we meet every year to push..."
Christophe, Miami Kiteboarding founder
"Here in Dakhla, we benefit from one of the most preserved environment on the planet. Kiters and tourists can ride in a very exclusive spot. We know that out of a constant and powerful wind perfect for kiting, all the riders are also coming to Dakhla because of the nature surrounding them. For us, preserving this environment is a definitive priority..."

KITECYCLE : A NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION
kitecycle
As part of our “Green My Kite ™” Program, we are working with a non-profit organization who is proposing an interesting solution to recycle kites. The process they have developed allows transforming a kite in several bags.

They are looking for three main kinds of partners:
  • Donation station : it allows you to give another reason to come to your shop. Donations are tax deductible so buying new gear is easier to justify. You store or school will be listed on kitecycle.org in the “Where to donate”page.
  • Production center : If you know of a group or organization or an individual that might be a good production partner with Kitecycle.org, you can contact Lydia at info@kitecycle.org . They are particularly interested in setting up production centers near kiting areas to conserve CO2 emissions in transporting recycled kites.
  • Sell kitecycle products: you can have a look on the products at here and contact Lydia at info@kitecycle.org if you are interested in carrying Kitecycle products.

  • Kitaddict is supporting Kitecycle initiative without any financial reward or incentive. We do that because we think it is a good eco-friendly and socially responsible idea.

Kitecycle has not yet developed donation centers or production centers outside of the US. So if you are interested, some discussions and ideas will have to be developed in order to fine tune a good way to implement this initiative in your country.

So feel free to contact Lydia or Kitaddict team if you have any question.
